I'm REALLY disappointed!!! Please tell me that Firefox will fix this problem! I know from some of the comments I found online when trying to find an answer that a LOT of RoboForm users are VERY UNHAPPY that their RoboForm toolbars no longer work! If Firefox can make my RoboForm toolbar function again, then I'll switch my default browser back to Firefox. I tried them both when Roboform upgraded. Two popular free alternatives are LastPass LastPass - Password Manager, Form Filler, Password Management & KeyPass KeePass Password Safe. I use the paid version of Roboform desktop 7 which IMO is well worth the money. I couldn't find anywhere to turn it back on. My Wife still uses the 'free' version as she only has a few sites at which to log in. I did get one error message after I had first upgraded to Firefox 42, and that was to tell me that SSL was disabled. I searched Firefox HELP, but nothing seemed to apply. I tried adjusting some settings in About:Config. I tried every setting I could find for my Extensions and PlugIns. I tried to solve the problem by DOWNGRADING from Firefox 42 to 41 to 40 and finally to 39, hoping I could get my RoboForm toolbar to work again, but nothing I did worked. RoboForm is so important to me that I have had to switch to using Google Chrome as my default browser, which is very inconvenient, since my bookmarks are much more current in Firefox and since I prefer Firefox for a variety of reasons. Since the recent Firefox updates, my RoboForm toolbar no longer works. I've also been using RoboForm as my password manager for a much longer time. I've been using Firefox for a very long time. Until then, I'm going to use Chrome as my default browser, but ONLY (and I really mean ONLY!!!) because I want my RoboForm toolbar to function! I couldn't find anywhere to turn it back on. So I'm submitting this same question here, hoping someone can help! I'm still not convinced it's working as smoothy as it did, but that might be me being overly sensitive to it at this point.I submitted the following question as FEEDBACK online on 11/06/15, but have not heard back from anyone in support at Firefox. As of the most recent program and extension updates ( 8.9.5.5 and 9.0.9.1 respectively) I'm getting better performance. Had some back and forth exchanges to provide information and feedback. ![]() Update 3: To support's credit they actually engaged with me on this one. ![]() Not pleased, we'll see what support has to say in Round 2. Removing Roboform returns FF to 100% functionality and this PC has no other issues, so it's definitely a Roboform issue (or at the very least an issue between Roboform and FF). Update 2: Ok, now I'm definitely getting major slowdowns with FF 82.0 and Roboform. I also asked a follow up about plans to make the animation optional and thus far haven't gotten a definite answer. ![]() I asked about slowdown and was just instructed to reinstall. The red dots indicate that Roboform is "processing" information on the page. Update: Support responded that this is an intentional thing. Support has been absolutely useless so far, they didn't even seem to understand what I was talking about when I first contacted them. The little red dots are kind of driving me nuts though, haha. I will say that I'm not noticing browser slowdown on my end (7 year old desktop here so specs aren't insane or anything), but that might just boil down to my usage habits. Experiencing the same thing here with both Firefox 81.0.2 and 82.0.
